Aechmea retusa x manzanareziana UNDER 10 It grows to 12 inchesA large growing, stunning hybrid by Grant Groves, forming an upright, funnel form rosette with leaves green above and entirely covered with silver trichomes below over a reddish base. The inflorescence is spectacular with an erect, scurfy, orange scape bearing orange bracts and many reddish orange branches edged in yellow with yellow flowers. Can reach nearly 3 feet tall when in bloom.
