The artwork was begun in the garden and finished in the studio. Animals and birds enjoy the slightly unkempt undergrowth. The painting was completed using archival quality watercolour paints on watercolour paper with a rough texture to enhance the broken colour. Wax and liquid resist techniques were also used to break up
