Inspired by the solid and vertical cylindrical pillars of pier constructions, the Pier chair is the new chair from Resident. Designed by Paris based designer Lonard Kadid in 2020, the chair is made completely from solid oak and features only tenon and mortise joints allowing the wood fibres to run continuously throughout. The seat and the backrest are carved using CNC rendering a comfortable seating position.
