Arts and Crafts Moorish Design Tile by Flint Faience Hand made but you can see portionsThis sweet Arts and Crafts tile with a Moorish inspired design was made at the Flint Faience Tile Company (1921 1933) in Flint MI. The design is on a faience clay body and is press molded, giving the tile a lot of texture. The tile measures 6" square and 1 2" thick. Signed on the back. Excellent overall condition, with a scattered flake or manufacturing flaw. Although the tile company was short lived, it may be better known for making spark plugs for
