Brass Bound Teak Military Chest - 19th Century Antique - Supplied in a blackThis brass bound Anglo Indian military chest dates to the 19th century and is a superb example of campaign furniture made for officers of the British Indian Army. Constructed from beautifully patinated teak, the chest retains its original brass and iron fittings, including strapwork, corner reinforcements, carrying handles, lock escutcheon and latch. The warmth of the timber and the depth of its surface patina reflect decades of use and careful
