Constructed of blackened iron with silvered appliques (fastened to the obverse with pins visible on obverse), presenting as a rightward facing Silesian eagle, the eagle bears a gorget featuring a cross over its wingspan and clutches a raised silvered banner in its talons inscribed FR SCHLESIEN (For Silesia), on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 49 mm (h) x 32. 5 mm (w), in extremely fine condition.
