A Pre First War 2nd Dragoons Officer's Collar Badge Republic of normally Royal or heads ofTwo piece construction, silver base on the monument, the badge itself in bronze gilt, maker marked "ELLIS BROS." on the reverse, measuring 27. 2 mm (w) x 36. 5 mm (h), both lugs and pin intact, the shaft and top portion of the silver monument having previously broken off leaving only the base, wear evident on the cluster of maple leaves, scattered silvering and gilt loss, fine.
