Naming is officially impressed. Edge nicks, light contact, replacement ribbon, very fine. Footnote: Private Joseph Franche is shown on the roll of the 18 man St. Placide Infantry Company, and is listed on page 255 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866 70" by John Thyen, entitled to the Fenian Raid 1870 clasp. He is documented on the roll as having been posted to Montreal, Quebec, from
