Constructed of silver, the exterior bearing a central raised depiction of the Luftwaffe Pilots Badge, consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the interior stamped with a silver content number of 835, corresponding to a size 11, weighing 7. 0 grams, with minor tarnishing and oxidation evident to the base
