A Heer Officers sword hanger, constructed of multiple panels of brown leather with tight stitching around the seam, topped by a magnetic metal loop, the obverse stitched with a functional nickel plated magnetic steel spring clip bearing the makers mark of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, on the reverse, measuring 60 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue and surface oxidation to the leather and metal elements, respectively, in
