Constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte, overlaid by a central Saxon coat of arms, flanked by a date of 1914, topped by a royal crown, the reverse with a raised monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 06 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
